For the past several years the Respect Life Office has held a very successful Mother/Daughter Tea – “God’s Plan for Growing Up” for daughters aged 10-12 and 13-15. It has been an opportunity to bring mothers and daughters together to discuss the changes and challenges that occur with physical development. Both programs are being held on Saturdays at St. Agnes Cathedral Parish Center, Rockville Centre from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm.

The presenters include members of Generation Life -- a dynamic group of young people from the Philadelphia area who make the message of life and chastity excitingly immediate to their hearers. We also have speakers from our own diocese who do the same.

The issues that arise from physical development and the challenges to life in our society are among the most important young people and their families face. Opportunities to talk about these issues within the community of faith are precious ones. We invite our families and young people to take advantage of these events to do so.
